BIOGRAPHY

Each chapters of life is challenging yet valuable experience.

Born in Vietnam, the youngest child of eight, I learned to draw by copying movie stars and scenery posters.  I experienced social changes from capitalism to communism, and now I am living in a democratic society.  Grown up in a strict society, I am now allowed to express myself freely.  All of these developments amalgamated me into a unique and compassionate individual.  Through my art creations, I intend to integrate my experiences, knowledge and feeling into creations that reach others.

Learning is a never-ending process.  To become a member of the Calgary Sketch Club allows me to improve and learn from other artists.  Practicing in a life drawing group and plein air painting has helped me to advance my skills further.
